1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CodeMD application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2 Description of the App

CodeMD is a free, open-source Android application that allows users to read and edit Markdown files. The App is provided at no cost and is intended for personal and professional productivity use.

3 License

CodeMD is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the terms of the MIT License included with the source code.

CodeMD operates entirely on files and content that you provide. You retain full ownership of all files you open or create using the App. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you open, edit, import, or share using the App.

The "Import from URL" feature allows you to fetch content from third-party URLs. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of MarkMD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
